Hey,

I'm new to this, so I've got a few questions. Is there only anonymous
access to YAFRAY CVS repository? This is the only way I could find
how to get at the repository.


Has anyone made a document that outlines the code restructure in
detail? I saw a few things on the blender wiki site that relates to
this, but they don't come close to providing details on what the new
code structure is going to look like.

Thats the best way. Like all of the other projects hosted on the
blender site, if you want cvs access to a project the best way is to
start submitting code updates. After you've done a number of them ask
for access to the cvs tree and more than likely you'll be in.
Alternately if your just looking for the code you can also download it from:
http://www.yafray.org/index.php?s=2&PHPSESSID=d2d496c3b3d17c4665a9d67fd0b74ea6

or get a daily checkout from:
http://download.blender.org/projects/yafray/daily-checkouts/

cvs is the best way though if your going to develop because then you can
use things like cvs update and cvs diff to keep your patches upto date.

I'm afraid the answer is no.

All documentation written about YafRay's new design is on the Blender
wiki. Additional information is only placed on Jandro and Eeshlo minds
;-) I attended several Jandro's lectures on the subject, and I think
that he has a very clear idea about the new way on YafRay development.
But now he is very busy with two works and he lives switched off
internet life, without connection to the network at home. I hope he will
have some spare time to spend on YafRay coding soon.
